About Me

I joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Seoul National University in 1999. I was a military specialist in Neowiz for two years as a programmer (2001-2004). I received my B.S. degree in Seoul National University (2006).

I was a Master and Ph.D. student at SNU Automotive Lab. in Seoul National Univ. since 2006, where I worked on the topics in Diesel Engine Combustion with Prof. Kyoungdoug Min and other researchers. My research interests were diesel engine combustion, optimizing combustion bowl shapes, and optimizing combustion systems to enhance combustion efficiency and reduce emissions. I served as a senior researcher at Doosan Infracore from 2013 to 2016. I was responsible for the development of the engine and the optimization of the piston. From 2016 to 2017 I was responsible for CFD and combustion analysis at CD-Adapco Korea (now Siemens Industry Software).

After three years as an assistant professor at Department of Robotics and Automation and Engineering of Hoseo University, Currently, I am an Assistant professor at the Division of Mechanical and Electronics Engineering of Hansung University. I am in charge of mechanical design related subjects. (Current charge Course: Thermodynamics II, Engineering Mathematics I)
